Life?
A stroke of fate changes many things, and that is exactly when you need people who understand, listen, and take action.
At our two locations, we take the time to get to know every person and their individual needs and to support them. With our team’s combined 200 years of experience and modern technical innovation, we accompany you through the years and develop solutions that are tailored exactly to you.
“What a lucky find”—that is what many customers tell us who have finally found the care and support that suits them best.
We joyfully integrate the industry’s technical innovations into our daily work. To enable extra quality of life for our customers, we are open to new solutions, continuously educate ourselves, and combine the proven with the innovative.
We know: A functional and simultaneously appealing prosthesis contributes decisively to acceptance. Standard solutions are out of the question for us—every prosthesis is as unique as the person wearing it.
Because the combination of personal needs and treatment goals makes every fabrication special and every prosthesis truly unique.
Do you have any unanswered questions, or would you like an assessment of your current fitting situation? No matter whether you are about to receive your first prosthesis or already have many years of experience as a user—we take the time to discuss your concerns in detail.
You are welcome to schedule an appointment for a personal consultation at our facility, or contact us in advance by phone. Together, we will clarify what concrete possibilities modern orthopedic technology offers for your individual needs.
Ideally, you should contact us before or shortly after a planned amputation. Early consultation helps alleviate anxiety and paves the way for optimal future mobility. We work closely with clinics and therapists to ensure a smooth process.
During the first meeting, we take the time to understand your personal situation, your goals, and your lifestyle. We discuss the various treatment options and explain the entire process, from the post-surgery phase to the finished prosthesis.
The interim prosthesis is your first prosthesis. It is used to learn how to walk or grasp while the residual limb is still changing in shape and volume. The definitive prosthesis is only manufactured once the residual limb has stabilized. It is optimized for long-term use and designed for maximum functionality and aesthetics.
The duration varies from person to person. Generally, it takes a few weeks from the first measurement and the test-socket phase to final delivery. Since we place the highest value on precision and individual customization at our facility, we schedule sufficient time for fittings.
In Austria, social insurance carriers (e.g., ÖGK, SVS, BVAEB) cover the costs for medically necessary standard fittings. Special or non-tariff fittings often require pre-authorization from a chief physician. We provide comprehensive support with the application process and communication with your insurance company or the responsible funding body.
To ensure safety and functionality, we recommend a regular check-up (approximately every 6 to 12 months). Parts subject to wear and tear, such as liners, socks, or cosmetic covers, may need to be replaced sooner depending on usage. If you experience pressure points or notice changes to your residual limb, please contact us immediately.
